Registration for Network conference Agri-Food Geographies on March 23-25, 2023
Deadline for registration: March, 1, 2023 The second network meeting of the working group Agri-food Geographies scheduled on the topic "Who MAKES our food? Power and powerlessness of actors in the agri-food system" will take place on 23rd-25th March at the University of Hohenheim. The conference will be held in a hybrid format with parallel hybrid and analogue sessions about issues such as global-local value chains, policy analysis and transformation perspectives.
As keynote speakers Damian Maye from the University of Gloucestershire and Marit Rosol from the University of Würzburg are invited. The program also includes interactive formats such as poster presentation with pitches, a “Schnibbeldisco” (organized by the student initiative FRESH) and a campus excursion to alternative food places. The conference is organized the chair ‘Societal Transition & Agriculture’ together with the recently founded working group Agri-food Geographies and sponsored is by the foundation Fiat Panis.
