Our degree programmes

Please note that our degree programmes are taught in German (see our preparatory German classes)!

Management & Gerontology

Management and social responsibility - we bring it together:

Our degree programme Management of Social Services (BA/MA) combines profound business theory with plenty of opportunities for practical experiences and thus prepares you for a management position in the healthcare or social system.

Alternatively, those interested in a management position in the field of supporting elderly people will find the Gerontology (BA/MA) degree programme to be a perfect fit.

Social Work & Educational Sciences

A degree in Social Work (BA/MA) opens up a wide range of employment opportunities in social institutions, e.g. in social work in schools, in the field of child and youth welfare, in supporting people with migration experience or in working with people with disabilities.

For those interested in youth and adult education or other pedagogical professions (outside the teaching profession), we offer the major Educational Sciences (as part of the Bachelor's programme Combined Studies).

Further Options

The "FIT" project focuses on supporting (prospective) students in degree programmes that prepare them for a career in the healthcare and social system.

You can find information on our other study programmes here.

The project FIT is supported by the DAAD with funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
