The Welcome Centre of the University of Vechta provides support to all visiting scholars, for a smooth arrival and a productive stay in Vechta.

We are happy to help with all practical aspects of planning, organising and realising your stay in Vechta.

To register as an international scholar, please fill in this form. Upon receiving your registration, we will get in touch with you per email. 

The Welcome Centre supports also international doctoral students seeking a doctoral degree in Vechta, as well as international postdocresearchers of the University of Vechta, with all relevant organisational and bureaucratic tasks. It also provides them information on pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of Vechta, on financial support for international researchers and much more (please see "Doctoral studies and research at the University of Vechta").
