
Department of International Affairs
The University of Vechta intends to make international experiences possible for as many university members as possible and therefore understands internationalisation as a strategic goal. The Department of International Affairs is an important link between the university management and the academic and non-academic institutions regarding strategic development of internationalisation at the university, establishing and maintaining strategic cooperation between universities and facilitating mobility programmes.

Department of Research Development and Knowledge Transfer
The Department of Research Development and Knowledge Transfer provides support in initiating, applying for, budgeting and implementing projects, coordinates and links initiatives and projects, and obtains information on research-funding and -financing institutions. The department also identifies sources of funding for research projects, academic events (conferences, congresses and workshops), printing and travel costs, scholarships and much more. It offers all stakeholders information on the research and cooperation potential of the University of Vechta on a regional, national and international level.

Department of Regional Integration
The University of Vechta is anchored in the region Oldenburg Münsterland, represents social innovation and future-oriented research and is especially dedicated to the field of education. The Department of Regional Integration aims to expand and strengthen the regional integration of the University of Vechta.

Department of Occupational Health and Safety
The experts for Occupational Health and Safety at the University of Vechta pursue the goal of promoting the employees’ and students’ safety and health and of reducing dangers, stresses and strains at the workplace and place of study.
