Transfer Office

As part of its transfer strategy, University of Vechta promotes the transfer of knowledge, ideas, social innovation and technology. These activities are supported by the transfer unit.

Transfer Projects

In various projects researchers at University of Vechta collaborate with educational institutions, business, policy makers and citizens.

Cooperations and Memberships

In addition to individual projects, the University of Vechta also maintains research collaborations with institutions in the region, nationally and internationally.

Service Learning

In service learning seminars, lecturers cooperate with an external partner organisation. The students carry out projects for and with the practice partners. This way, both sides benefit from the exchange of knowledge.

Science Shop Vechta/Cloppenburg

Science Shop Vechta/Cloppenburg invites citizens, associations, municipalities, companies and other institutions in the region to learn more about science and participate in research.

Transfer Units

Several institutions at University of Vechta have explicitly dedicated themselves to the task of transfer. These include the Center of Sustainability Transformation in Areas of Intensive Agriculture (trafo:agrar) and the Centre for Teacher Education.

Transfer Strategie

As a "university with responsibility", the University of Vechta promotes transfer in the sense of knowledge exchange and dialogue in a participatory and multidirectional manner. This includes regional as well as national and international partners and stakeholders.
