Welcome to the Vechta Institute of Sustainability Transformation in Rural Areas (VISTRA)

The institute's members research the various dimensions and dynamics of transformation processes in rural areas in an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary manner as well as on different spatial scale levels, with regard to global challenges and against the guiding principle of sustainability, especially taking into account the research focuses of the University of Vechta.
