The École Normale Supérieure (ENS) was founded in 1961 and is part of the Université de Yaoundé. It is an elite university that trains students for the teaching profession. Currently, there are around 3,500 students enrolled in a total of 14 institutes and faculties.

Karatina University is a public university in Kenya. It is located 15 km north of the town of Karatina. The university aspires to be one of the main institutions of higher education in Kenya. Among others, fields of studies are agriculture and biotechnology, social sciences, natural sciences, and business.

With our partner university St. Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT), which is located in Mwanza on Victoria Lake, we have had intensive exchange relations since 2009.

Students have the opportunity to study or do an internship/placement in Tanzania.
Students who are planning a study and/or an internship/placement stay in Tanzania must be centrally registered with our partner university by the University of Vechta. To this end, a form must be filled in and submitted to ira-hempen@uni-vechta.de .
