The Certificate of Intercultural Competence (Zertifikat "Interkulturelle Kompetenz" - ZIK) is an extracurricular offer for students of the University of Vechta who have gained expertise in the fields of internationality and interculturality. It recognises intercultural competences, international mobility, language skills and commitment regarding the support of international students as well as the organisation of events and projects that promote intercultural exchange.

How to receive the certificate
In order to receive the certificate, you must complete at least 4 of the following modules.

Registration & Formalities
In order to register for the programme, please fill out the following registration form:
Please hand in the completed registration form to the International Office - Room G 04 - or drop it in P.O. Box 18 (International Office) in front of the B1 lecture hall.
Once you have registered for the certificate, we will add you to our mailing list, which we will use to inform you about offers within the programme (e.g. events in which you can participate).
Proof of your performance
After registering for the programme you will receive a form (control sheet) which you can use to record your activities within the programme. You can also download the respective form here:
If you have completed at least four modules of the certificate, please come to the International Office to submit your completed control sheet or drop the documents in PO Box 18 (in front of the B1 lecture hall). The International Office checks whether you have fulfilled the requirements and issues the certificate.
