Tuition fee

No tuition fees are charged for doctoral programmes at University of Vechta. A Opens internal link in current windowsemester fee for administration costs, the Student Services Organisation (Studentenwerk), the Students’ Union Executive Committee (AStA) and the semester ticket has to be paid. It is usually about 300 Euro and includes free pass for all local trains in Lower Saxony (Semesterticket) and perk use of the refectory/dining hall.

Funding Travel Costs

Doctoral candidates at the University of Vechta can apply for travel allowances for active participation in academic conferences and congresses up to 400 Euro/year. To be eligible, applicants require 50 % co-financing from the own department/institute/subject. The maximum subsidy for accommodation expenses is € 50 per night.
